FANTAIL MULLET

This mullet is olive green in color with blue tints on the back with silvery sides. There are dark blotches at the base of the pectoral fins and an inverted V-shaped mouth.

The Fantail Mullet is abundant in Florida and can be found in the Gulf of Mexico.

The Mullet is a baitfish weighing in at under a pound.
